Windy ride

What a beautiful day, I went for the most lovely ride on the hill this morning. I took Ted, Will’s dog, for the first time, he loved it! My two hunt about always seeking as Cocker Spaniels do and Ted bounced from one to the other throughly getting in the way. The best news was that we (we is me, the horse and the three dogs;))saw our first Lapwing. I think it is early in the year for them, he was on his own, but got up just in front of us so I had a lovely view of him, and his lonely ‘peee-whit’ cry, it seems to fit so well with the open landscape of the Aberedw Hill. Its still blowing fit to bust but dry and sunny - a really lovely day.

Hello Carol, Just a few flowers out, some daffs are waving in the wind further down the valley, Builth is quite a different climate from us. Those few hundred feet higher make quite a difference to the weather. We do have some brave primroses, not a sign of bluebells! It's lovely again today - NO wind!! But I do feel as if spring is sprung-ing
