A family of swans...

George went to feed the birds on the campsite the other morning and was welcomed by Penny Bow-wave (a regular swan visitor!) but she had brought her relatives for breakfast!

Sadly, this morning they had been replaced by the ‘dear’ Canada geese. We hope that she will return in the Spring.

Would fishing be possible in those lakes? and if so, any rules, regulations and/or restrictions?

Not yet John, we hope to stock them in the Autumn ready for next, 2009, season. They are looking particularly lovely at the moment though, beautirful spring sunshing (in February!) and the water mill-pond flat.....even the dogs aren't swimming in them though!!
